Palmdale to Welcome Residents to District 4’s Neighborhood Watch Event |
PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale invites families to come out and enjoy a community Neighborhood Watch event on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Domenic Massari Park, 37716 55th St. East, from 6-8 p.m. This free community event is packed with fun and thrilling entertainment for all ages as we help build stronger, safer neighborhoods.
Families can expect an evening filled with free treats, face painting, a live DJ and local food truck options. For added excitement, everyone will have a chance to win a free Ring camera. District 4 Councilmember Eric Ohlsen will join residents during the evening to hear their thoughts on community priorities and how to make Palmdale an even better place to call home.
“Strong neighborhoods begin with neighbors who know each other,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “This event helps to create important connections, while supporting our shared commitment to safety.”

The Neighborhood Watch program empowers residents to become active observers of their neighborhood. During the event, everyone can learn techniques to prevent crime and about the helpful resources available from community partners.
