| “Wicked” Brings a Magical Experience to the Palmdale Amphitheater on October 17th |
PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale invites families to defy gravity and join the magic at Palmdale’s Fall Movie Night on Friday, Oct. 17, featuring the beloved sing-along version of the movie-musical, “Wicked” under the desert stars. The enchanting evening promises to be popular throughout the land with a costume parade, themed craft stations and a trick-or-treat trail that will transform the Amphitheater into an autumn wonderland.
The evening of family-friendly entertainment kicks off at 5 p.m. Young wizards and witches are encouraged to show off their costumes at a festive parade before enjoying craft stations inspired by “Wicked” and autumn-themed activities. A trick-or-treat trail will delight kids with multiple stops offering candy, small toys and goodies.
“This evening highlights the wonder of fall while capturing the creativity and spirit that make Palmdale a wonderful place to call home,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “We’re providing families with affordable entertainment that celebrates our community values and gives us something special to look forward to this fall.”

Admission is $5, with children 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Vendors will be on-site selling snacks and drinks.
