The City of Lancaster’s Halloween Haunt Returns This Weekend!
Join us Saturday, October 18, for a frightfully fun evening of free family festivities.

The City of Lancaster invites residents and visitors to celebrate the spooky season at the 2025 Halloween Haunt, returning Saturday, October 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lancaster National Soccer Center, Field #30 (43000 30th St. E, Lancaster, CA 93535).

This free, family-friendly event promises a ghoulishly good time for guests of all ages — featuring trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, costume contests, carnival games, live entertainment, and more.

“Halloween Haunt is one of Lancaster’s favorite fall traditions — a time for families to come together, have fun, and make lasting memories,” said Vice Mayor Marvin Crist. “We’re thrilled to bring it back even bigger and better this year.”

The 2025 Halloween Haunt will feature an array of spellbinding activities, including trick-or-treating through the Halloween village, creative pumpkin decorating, and lively costume contests where participants can compete for medals across multiple age categories. Guests can also explore two festive mazes — one family-friendly and one with a spookier twist — enjoy the Ghostly Creations craft area, and play carnival-style Harvest Haunt Games perfect for kids and families alike.
Little ones will love the Spooktacular Play Zone, a soft play area designed especially for toddlers and children up to four years old. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy live music from DJ Craig EC and DJ Beat Drop, along with three captivating magic shows at 4:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. The costume contest will take place on the main stage beginning at 5:00 p.m., with categories for infants through adults, as well as groups and couples.

The City encourages families to come dressed in their favorite costumes, take photos at the themed photo stations, and enjoy a safe, spirited evening under the Lancaster stars.

The City of Lancaster extends its gratitude to the event’s sponsors for helping make this free community celebration possible: Race Communications, Toyota of Lancaster, Kaiser Permanente, Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA), Adelman Broadcasting, and Antelope Valley College (AVC).

The 2025 Halloween Haunt will be held rain or shine. For more information, visit www.cityoflancasterca.gov/Haunt.
